MINI MARAUDER – Girls Learn to Play

Girls Learn to Play is designed for the beginner hockey player who can skate without assistance and for girls 12 & under who already play and would like additional skill time throughout the season.  This program is ideal for girls who play other winter sports and want to give hockey a try or, for a girl who is not ready to commit to a travel hockey schedule. The goal of the program is to introduce girls to hockey and to teach them the fundamentals of the game (skating, stick handling, and shooting) with the hope that they come to enjoy it and decide to continue to play it. We will focus on hockey skill drills, fun-focused practices, and cross-ice games to improve their skating and hockey skills.
